Chris Young – Owner of Bowlswear Direct (One if the largest Bowls retailers in the Uk) cane up with the idea of Bowls Hub around ten years ago. However due to other business commitments, it has been a long process to finally get his idea live on a website.
Chris and his brother Pete bought the Bowlswear Direct business in 2016 and moved the shop in its entirety to a new and improved premises within the Wey Valley Indoor Bowls Club in Guildford, Surrey.
Chris has been one of the top bowlers in England over the past twenty years having reached the World Indoor Pairs Final and Quarter Final of the World Indoor Singles at Potters. Chris has represented England at both Junior and Senior levels indoors and Outdoors across the world, with a highlight playing the thee man test series in Australia with former World Champion Mervin King.
The Bowls World is like a big family and Chris and his team of Neil Potter and Pete Young are giving self employed bowlers or family members of bowlers with their own business the opportunity to connect with this big network.
